Kaesler has 3 patches of Semillon. This wine was made from hand picked fruit on the more alluvial soils at Kaesler, which straddle an old creek bed that feeds the Para River. The soil types typically consist of grey silt loam over clay and limestone shale, which is perfectly suited for finer styles of Semillon.
