As of the 2009 vintage, this wine is primarily Pinot Grigio (92%) with a little bit of viognier (8%) blended in. Both varieties were vinified separately. The Pinot Grigio underwent a short period of skin contact to enhance palate structure. The Viognier was crushed, chilled and pressed immediately. In the end, luscious fruit flavors are balanced by a crisp, flinty finish making it a perfect accompaniment to richly flavored foods.
