In true big country Woop Woop mode, Chardonnay grapes are sourced from incredible South Australian wine regions, namely the Fleurieu Pennisula. The unequivocally cool climate and very old podsolic soils over an ironstone/gravel base of low to moderate fertility is ideal for growing Chardonnay.
From delicious, crisp stone fruits combined with hints of lemon blossom and skins of lime, Woop Woop Chardonnay is a medium-bodied, richly fruity, dry wine suited for consumption over the next year or so. Mostly tank fermented with minimal lees contact, this classy lightly wooded refresher shows distinctive aromatics and a well-balanced palate. Woop Woop Chardonnay will compliment a wide variety of meal choices, especially those with an ocean association.
